Sonstige Sony Ericsson W995 Prototyp flashen?

Hallo zusammen,
hab die Flash-Anleitung befolgt um mein TMOBILE-Branding raus zu bekommen, aber irgendwie zieht sich das A2-Tool die Dateien nicht (Siehe Screenshot).


Jemand ne Idee? Oder habe ich irgendetwas übersehen?

Sieht stark nach einem Prototyp aus, siehe IMEI & CID.

Du könntest es per Omnius versuchen, garantieren kann ich aber nichts...

Ja, ist n Prototyp-hab aber nix gezahlt, war n Geschenk
Mit Omnius hat der Unlock schonmal geklappt,
nur dann gabs bei 2 Versuchen beim Flashen mit Omnius jeweils diese Fehlermeldung:

Hab auf der Omnius Seite im Netz keine Hilfe gefunden--Ne Idee?

 

Wirklich seltsam, im Log wird dein W995 als C905 identifiziert.

Versuche es bitte mit der Firmware aus der Omnius Homepage.

Seid wann hat ein Prototyp ein Branding?

Normal ist das nie der Fall.

Habe ich aber bei T-Mobile schon öfters gesehen, dass dort Developer-Geräte bzw. Prototypen als Retail-Artikel verkauft werden.

 

Und genau so ein Gerät isses ja auch

welche der vielen verschiedenen Files (FW und LP) sind denn die richtigen? und wofür stehen die Abkürzungen FW/LP?

 

FW => Firmware oder auch Main.
LP => Filesystem.

Sieht aber gerade schlecht aus, da alle verfügbaren Dateien CID53 sind.

Wenn du möchtest kannst du es trotzdem versuchen.

Wie Ihr sicherlich gemerkt habt sind das meine ersten Schritte beim Handy modifizieren..

Könnte es vielleicht an der tpa.zip für das Customization file liegen? da habe ich die Version genommen, welche ich bereits ganz zu Beginn für das A2-Tool genutzt habe..
Für Main und RAW habe ich die gelinkten Files aus Kommentar #8 genutzt..

 

Hast du das Handy mal gestartet und nachgeschaut ob das Branding weg ist?

 

Hatte ich bis vor der erneuten/gleichen Fehlermeldung immer gemacht und das ohne Erfolg.
Aber nach dem Firmware-Flash funktioniert jetzt alles einwandfrei!!

Wenn ich jetzt andere Oberflächen etc einsetzten möchte, sollte doch alles einwandfrei funktionieren,oder
kann es da jetzt noch zu Problemen kommen? Und mit welchen Programm sollte ich diese Modifizierungen vornehmen-wieder mit
dem ursprünglich genutzten A2-Uploader oder direkt wieder mit Omnius?

Mit dem A2 Uploader kommst du nicht weit, soviel ist sicher.

 

Mit Oberflächen meinte ich bspw. die Menüoberflächen, die ich ja sicherlich auch mit dem Sony eigenen Tool hinzufügen kann.
Aber wie siehts aus mit evtl notwendigen alternativen Kamera-Treibern etc, hatte sowas vor ein paar Tagen im Netz gelesen, dass
mein Model hier evtl ne Auffrischung benötigt..

 

Ok, das musst du auch per Omnius machen.

Unter "Advanced" findest du die Operation "decompress archive to filesystem", damit kannst du die Dateien dann ins Filesystem übertragen.
