    Erklärung der Firmwarecodes bei Samsung

    Hier eine kurze Beschreibung worauf ihr bei der Samsung Firmware achten müßt.
    Z.B.: S8300XXID6 bedeutet Samsung S8300, deutsche Sprache u.a., April 2009, Revision 6

    - S8300 = Typ
    - XX = Ländercode
    - ID = Jahr/Monat (Releasedate Firmware)
    - 6 = Revision

    Manchmal ist vor dem Ländercode noch ein Buchstabe, der eine Zahl aus dem Gerätetyp ersetzt. Beispiel:

    S830NXXIC1

    Diese Buchstaben bedeuten:

    S830 = Samsung S8300
    N = Navigationsedition (beinhaltet i.d.R. Route66)
    F = Pink Edition ( Firmware ist der Farbe des Gerätes angepasst, meist ein zusätzliches Theme und einige andere kleine Goodies)
    G = Grey Edition (beinhaltet meist keine bedeutenden Änderungen)
    K = ?

    Revision:

    Zunächst wird 1-9 gewählt. Je höher die Revision, umso neuer ist die Firmware. Sollte 1-9 nicht ausreichen, weil es mehr als 10 Revisionen in einem Monat gab, dann wird die Zahl durch einen Buchstaben ersetzt. Beispiel:

    M7600XXID6 (6. Revision) ist älter als M7600XXIDA (10. Revision)
