    Hallo Leute,
    nachdem ich hier im Forum nichts zum Rooten des neuen Kindle Fire HD gefunden habe, wollte ich meine Erfahrungen mit euch Teilen.

    Das Rooten des KFHD klappt mit folgender Methode und den Softwareversion 7.2.2/7.2.3 (niedriger sollte auch gehen).

    Nach dem Rooten könnt ihr die Lockscreenwerbung entfernen.

    Das automatische Update am besten noch ausschalten, sonst ist man seinen Root schnell wieder los. ;)

    system/etc/security/otacerts.zip umbenennen zu otacerts2.zip.

    Anschließend kommt vor dem Update immer erst eine Rückfrage.

    Ich kann noch den Apex Launcher empfehlen, Google Maps & Street View sind auch nicht schlecht^^

    Hat noch jemand einen Tipp für den Lockscreen? Ich meine er ist nicht so informativ wie ich es gerne hätte...

    Es gibt Neuigkeiten!

    Habe mir schon vor einigen Tagen Cyanogen Mod aufn Kindle geflasht... Schon geil!

    Fragen oder womöglich eine deutsche Übersetzung können bei Nachfrage gemacht werden - jedoch sollte jeder, der vor hat seinen Kindle zu flashen, wissen was er tut!

    Aber der Hauptgrund, warum hier bei mir ein KFHD liegt, ist dann weg. ;)
